Roxanne Dudicz, CPA
Roxanne is originally from Rockford, Illinois, but has an accounting degree from Calvin College. She pursued her CPA license after graduation and spent several years in public accounting & private industry. Roxanne had trouble finding work that would accommodate her desired work-life balance so she decided to start a company that offers expert, personal service while offering flexibility. She has a passion for developing people, processes in a thriving culture. Roxanne spends her free time with her husband and three young kids, traveling, volunteering & trying new experiences.

Neva Bowman, CPA
Neva grew up near Muncie, Indiana, earning her accounting degree from Ball State University. After college, she started in public accounting, obtaining her CPA license before transitioning to the private sector to manage a small corporate office that completed full-service accounting for several hotels and restaurants. Later in her career, Neva worked with several small businesses, gaining accounting experience while enjoying a renewed quality of life and flexible hours. She joined Rivertown Finance to continue her professional growth while maintaining her quality of life. She has four grown children and appreciates spending time on the lake with her husband and caring for her grandchildren whenever possible.

Mary DeGroot, CPA
Mary attended Calvin University and then transferred to Michigan State University, where she received her accounting degree. She worked in public accounting for 18 years. Mary spent a short time in corporate accounting before moving to the nonprofit sector, where she spent 13 years at 2 different organizations. Mary has a passion for non-profit accounting and helping each of them pursue their missions. Mary enjoys reading, hiking, volunteering, traveling, and spending time at the beach in Ludington. She is married and has 2 young adult daughters.

Julie Myers
Julie received her accounting degree from Western Michigan University and started her career in the real estate/property management arena where she worked for many years in both corporate and private settings. Her experience ranges from general accounting and bookkeeping to managing a small office including all facets of reporting. Julie is heavily involved with our non-profit clients and enjoys seeing their mission accomplished through collaborative partnerships.

Vicki Walker, CPA
Vicki is originally from Wisconsin and earned her BA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Business before moving to Minneapolis, MN. She later earned her MBA from the University of Minnesota and her CPA license. Her pre-Rivertown career history includes several years in public accounting and in the private sector, in both retail and manufacturing environments. Vicki enjoys problem solving, process creation and analysis. Vicki has three grown children and one grandchild. She enjoys the performing arts, road trips and going on walks or coffee dates with friends.

Elizabeth Zeldes, CPA

In 2005, Elizabeth Zeldes founded a specialty CPA firm in order to serve older adults through daily money management, fiduciary accounting, tax services, and advocacy. In 2017 that firm became part of Rivertown Finance and is now known as CPA for Seniors. Elizabeth has spoken at national conferences of American Association of Daily Money Managers and American Society on Aging, as well as Michigan Elder Law Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Grand Valley State University Art & Science of Aging Conference, WZZM 13 TV and numerous community groups. She is on the Public Awareness Committee of the American Association of Daily Money Managers and a member of Elder Abuse Coalition, Caregiver Resource Network and Kent County Council on Aging. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Daily Money Manager. She and her high-school sweetheart husband moved to Salt Lake City in 2019 to be closer to their sons, but she remains passionate about CPA for Seniors and its vision.

Christy is a Calvin University accounting graduate with years of experience providing bookkeeping & financial reporting support to multiple clients. She is detailed & organized and helps clients understand their finances. Christy is married with young children who she enjoys spending quality time with. When she isn’t working or spending time with family/friends, she enjoys supporting her church family and traveling. Christy is a life-long learner.

Brittany Ford attended Calvin University to pursue her love for accounting. Brittany really wants to use the gifts she has to help the people around her and to exemplify stewardship. Brittany uses her eye for organization and detail to add value to small businesses & non profit organizations. Brittany is married and has a young daughter. Outside of work Brittany likes to spend time with her family & friends, cooking and relaxing with a movie.

Alyssa VandenBerge graduated from Calvin University with a BS in Accounting. Alyssa has more than 15 years of experience in general ledger accounting, payroll and A/P and A/R for small businesses and non profit organizations. Alyssa is married and enjoys tennis, gardening, and golfing with her family.

Brenda Buery
Brenda lives in a suburb of Kansas City but received her accounting degree from the University of Central Missouri. She has extensive experience in both private and nonprofit entities. Brenda enjoys working with a variety of clients to assist them with their accounting needs. She loves working with Rivertown Finance because the firm is encouraging and offers flexibility. Outside of the office, Brenda enjoys reading, word puzzles, and time with her husband, 5 adult children, and their spouses, and 4 awesome grandchildren.

Kim DeBruyn
Kim graduated from Calvin University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. While at Calvin, she played basketball for four years and cultivated her love for accounting. She went on to receive her MSA degree from Grand Valley State University while also working in the private sector for 16 years. Kim is married to her kindergarten sweetheart and has two boys and two long-haired cats. Kim loves playing and watching sports, traveling, and spending time at their cottage in South Haven, MI.

Christie was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA. She graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After starting her career at a CPA firm, Christie gained additional experience as a staff accountant and income auditor. Joining the Rivertown Team to advance her career, she appreciates the work/life balance that the company culture provides. Christie is married with two young children and eleven chickens. She enjoys spending time free time with her family, camping, and relaxing on the beach.

Amy Doehring
Amy is an Adrian College Alumni, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Prior to college Amy was enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving 4 years as a member of the Services Squadron. After graduation, she spent 9 years working for a large international manufacturing company. After a move to Northern Michigan, she desired a more flexible work environment and joined the Rivertown Finance team. Amy enjoys the year-round outdoor activities with her family.

Samantha is from a small town in North Carolina. She graduated from Campbell University with her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting after first focusing in science. While in school, Samantha gained bookkeeping experience working for a medical practice in her hometown. She joined the Rivertown team to advance her career and has greatly enjoyed working with non-profits, supporting their missions. In her free time Samantha enjoys spending quality time with her husband and family, spoiling her dog, riding 4-wheelers, and crafting.

Tina Jones was born and raised in Idaho and currently lives in Central Florida. She earned her Associates degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in business and Information Management from Seminole State College. Tina has over twenty years of work experience in private sectors and CPA firms. Tina enjoys the outdoors, traveling, listening to audio books, volunteering, continuing education, and spending time with her family.

Laura is from Windsor, Colorado and attended the University of Northern Colorado where she earned a degree in accounting. She worked at a CPA firm in Fort Collins and gained experience working on financials for small business clients before starting with Rivertown Finance. Laura is excited to put her knowledge to use and help clients gain an understanding of their business through an accounting perspective. When she isn’t hard at work, Laura enjoys photography, spending time in the Colorado outdoors with family and friends, and baking.

Vicki graduated from Baker College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She has worked in the accounting field for almost 20 years in a variety of industries and has a passion for helping others. She is involved with the Boy Scouts as well as her local church. She and her husband live in Horton Bay, Michigan. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors and with her grandchildren.

Rebekah Westendorp
Rebekah earned her Associates Degree in Accounting at Davenport University. She joined the Rivertown Finance team to grow her passion for accounting and finance in an educational culture. Rebekah worked at a small office in Wayland before joining the team and is eager to continue to help other small businesses. Beth Clark
Beth joined Rivertown Finance to utilize her passion for personal finance. The role is a perfect combination of applying her systems & communication skills to support client needs. She chose the company for its designed work-life balance so she could spend time with her husband, 2 Great Danes, traveling, and gardening. Beth’s education and early career were in Accounting, earning a CMA, MBA and PMP. She spent 21 years at Herman Miller, Inc. in roles in Finance and Supply Management and she has taught accounting at Davenport University for almost 20 years.

Deb came to Rivertown Finance after working for Frederik Meijer Gardens. She focuses on work with our senior clients throughout Kent County. Prior to her work here in Grand Rapids, she worked both for non-profit and small-midsized businesses in Kalamazoo, Portage and the Otsego areas. She and her husband, Kevin, love to garden, travel and listen to music.

Antoinette is a business graduate of Aquinas College and serves as an advocate for both children & seniors! In her daily money manager role, she truly believes in journeying alongside her senior clients to help them look out for financial issues and keep them up to date with their personal finances. Antoinette volunteers as a court appointed special advocate for foster care children when she isn’t spending time with her husband and grown son and daughter. Antoinette enjoys golfing, skiing and learning new things.

Kim Sansoterra, Adminstrative Service Specialist
Kim appreciates the work-life balance at Rivertown Finance. Kim’s many years of accounting experience, combined with her heart to serve, makes her perfect for her role. Kim endlessly supports team members and clients with her cheerful attitude and utmost professionalism. When Kim is not working she is spending her time with her 5 kids and 2 grandkids. She also volunteers at her church.

Steph is a Wisconsin native with many years of experience as an administrative assistant. She came to Rivertown Finance after taking a hiatus as a stay-at-home parent. Rivertown Finance is the perfect place to grow her career and have the flexibility to stay involved in her young daughter’s life. Steph enjoys working as a part of the Rivertown team and supporting staff and clients with a positive and seamless experience. Spending many years as a stay-at-home mom, Melanie was looking to do part time work that would be flexible and, in a place, where she knew she was serving others. Rivertown Finance is that place and so much more. Her organization skills have helped fill a needed roll as she handles all the inner-workings of the company. Melanie loves reading, listening to audio books, and learning. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and taking trips to Northern Michigan.
